03. Contradictory, moi?

Sat Oct 3, 2009, 1:32 PM

Strawberries and Cream

So you may have noticed I don't take things too seriously. Or do I?

I am full of contradictions. In fact scrap that. I am one big contradiction.
I don't like liars yet I lie to myself on a day to day basis.
I want to succeed yet I'm petrified of the responsibility.
I'm patriotic and yet I'd still love to live in a different country.

But this is home.

I like to walk down the river past the farms and watch the shapes in the clouds.
I love the way the lights are like stars and how the wind whispers their hopes, dreams and desires into my awaiting ears.
I like to sit on the roof and watch the people wander, rush, step and saunter.
I feel the streets under my feet and listen to their stories.
I like the Northern chill in the morning and the untouched snow in the winter.

Why do you love home?

And now for something different. For me anyway...
